The multi-function compact cooker, has 2 hot plates so you can grill, roast bake and fry your food in pans like you would on a normal hob. The fan assisted 30 liter oven with thermostatic controls (60-230 degrees) can cook food through and even. The 120 minute auto shut off allows baking and cooking to always cook on time. The Mini Cooker even comes with a long 2 year warranty, 3 years after registering your product online.

You can register your Russell Hobbs oven, and any other products by going to the Russell Hobbs website, this will allow you to (in many circumstances) increase the guarantee on your product. The Russell Hobbs 22780 comes with a hefty 2 year guarantee. By registering your product you get an extra 1 year. Increasing the total warranty to 3 years. This is included on many other products too.

What is the size of the oven tray?

The oven tray is 33 cms and fits into slots on side of oven. There is also an oven rack of the same size which can sit on top of tray when grilling.

How does the door open?

The door is hinged at the bottom so opens from top to bottom.

What wattage is the oven alone?

The rating plate on the back of my Russell Hobbs mini oven states that the appliance is rated for 1580-1920 Watts. This wattage is delivered at the standard UK voltage of 220 - 240 Volts and 50-60 Hz. There is no indication on the plate of how this wattage is split between each section of the mini oven. If I had to guess I would say that the lower figure of 1580 might represent the oven's usage and the upper figure of 1920 watts must cover the total usage of both rings and oven combined. You could try contacting Russell Hobbs themselves. They would surely know the answer to that.

Has anyone found any muffin trays, cupcake trays etc that are narrow enough for this oven please?

I use the ones I already had, I just turn them sideways. Otherwise, I use a baking tray with cake cases. Be careful not to put your cakes near the bottom (oven) element though as they will burn underneath. Use the top shelf and ensure the grill is off and the oven is set a little lower than what the recipe states. (Means a bit longer cooking time.) Hope this helps.

How long does the oven take to heat up?

5 or 10 minutes. It's a great, but basic, traditional electric mini oven, for studio flats, caravans and holiday apartments, for students, grannies, couples and singles. Don't expect space age technology or luxury style.

The small size put powerful oven with fan assist gives an even distribution of heat, which helps to reduce the time and temperature required to cook food, saving on energy and saving your money!

The competitive price, would not only be good for a normal microwave, but this small oven is almost a complete kitchen housed in a small box. Well worth the money!
